INJECTION MOLDING
Injection Part is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting material into a mould. Injection moulding can be performed with a host of materials mainly including metals, (for which the process is called die-casting), glasses, elastomers, confections, and most commonly thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers.
Material for the part is fed into a heated barrel, mixed, and forced into a mould cavity, where it cools and hardens to the configuration of the cavity. Molds are made by Ontops from metal, usually, either steel or aluminium and precision-machined to form the features of the desired part.
ANODIZED COATING
Ontops is a premier aluminum anodizing specialist, providing a comprehensive range of processes and the ability to anodize extruded aluminum projects.
Anodizing has been recognized as a valuable medium for extending the life of aluminum. Anodizing enhances the use of aluminum as a lightweight and attractive manufacturing component.
While the science of anodizing aluminum is well understood, the actual practice of anodizing and quality of the final finished product – can vary dramatically. That is why Ontops has focused its specialization in this critical area, to ensure the highest quality finished parts and products, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
CNC PRECISION MACHINING
Ontops provide CNC machining services for metal part manufacturing in numerous industries. Our software reads CAD drawings for all types of parts, and our team is capable of handling high volume production runs for a wide range of projects.
The tools used for precision CNC Machining are controlled by our skilled staff with the help of sophisticated digital systems. CNC, or Computer Numerical Control, allows for extremely particular control of positioning, velocity, coordination, feed rates, and other precision aspects of the manufacturing process for a particular part or object.
